Effective labor rate by opcode

does anyone know how to print a report as to what the effective labor rate is by op-code usage on ADP?

I think you can do that with RAP

RAP does show elr overall or by RO was hoping for a breakdown by opcode,As I would like to find out were we're light.

Could probably be done in RPG, then exported to Excel. Got a lot on my plate this week, but would be glad to play with it for you when I get a chance.

Use function RDH and choose op-code analysis.
You'll get a 12 month trend of the sales, gross, gp%, count, and elr.

Since you're looking for a report of all ops sold, my suggestion would be to use the HISTORY file in RPX. Select with a starting date or you'll pull everything from the beginning of time.
Minimally output the op-code, sale, and sold-hours so you can build a cell in excel that calculates ELR. My fear is that you may use a misc op-code to catch all items that aren't frequent maint codes.

jazdale appreciate the help when you state minimally output op-code how is that done. When I build report I get all op-codes on RO listed in a row, is there another way?

Please note that RDH does not give you ELR but instead the last column is EFF, which is efficiency not effective labor rate. It does give a good look at specific opcodes though!

Jazzdale, I played with it a little and ran into the same problem you did. What he meant by "minimally" was to at least choose those fields he mentioned as the output fields.

I'd suggest opening a case with ADP and let them play with it for a while.

scott - good eye - you're right it is efficiency. But there is enough data to calculate ELR if you scrape the detail into excel.

dka - I see what you mean when the op-codes all show up in the same cell.
Do it again, but this time use option 3 to sort BY-EXP OP-CODE. Use the X to select.
This means exploded, which will put each op-code in its own cell and the time and dollars too!
