The weather is warming up and we are having our annual discussion about A/C services.
Two issues I'd like some feedback on:
1) Our parts department charges out freon in increments of one pound. So if we use 1/4 pound to top off a system, the customer gets charged for a pound. Part of the rationale is that it covers what sometimes doesn't get reported and it also helps pay for the evac machine. What do you think about that?
2) What is everyone charging for a pound of freon these days. We charge $25 a pound. Too much? Not enough?
