I HAVE A CHALLENGE FROM OUR GENERAL MANAGER TO PURCHASE THIS MANUAL AND IF WE USE ONE IDEA THAT PRODUCES A PROFIT, HE WILL REIMBURSE ME DOUBLE. HAS ANYONE GOTTEN THIS BOOK AND DOES IT HAVE ANYTHING REALLY USEFUL?

Which specific manual are you talking about, since we have about twenty currently being actively marketed.

Because with most of our manuals, I'll do you one better and say if it there isn't an idea that pays for itself we'll give you your money back.

DEALERS EDGE MANUAL

I have purchased a bunch of these manuals. To me it is not so much that they contain single ideas, but a collection of ideas that worked for someone. From that, I make what works for me.

I have purchased The Service Manager's Idea Bank, Pay Plans for Service Department's, 101 Ways to Improve Fixed Operations, and Advance Parts Management-75 Ideas.

They were all great thought starters. We have to remember, we are sometimes in our own little world and do not know what other's are doing differently. I think if we want to compete, we have to know what the competition is doing.

I would like to see a similar type manual on what the aftermarket does that dealer's don't do very often.
