G3500 cut away SIR removal

Hello, Anyone run into this? We have a G3500 converted to a bus. This vehicle is to be registered in NJ. Since there is no passenger door or seat (stairway entrance is there) NJDOT wants the passenger airbag removed. GM Engineering wants us to put a airbag termination harness in place of the airbag. PARTECH has no idea what they are talking about. My only guess is a complete I/P harness for a vehicle without airbag. (Why they didn't build it this way in the first place is unknown). Our SM is talking to TAC now about this matter and some other issues on this particular vehicle. Any ideas? Thanks.

No Offense, but GGGOOOODDDD luck -w- that one. Our dealership used to be involved -w- hearse's, man what a pain in the ass. Trying to figure out where they screwed up putting screw in the floorboard and ruining the wire harness.
