1. Why are branded parts (Motorcraft, ACDelco, Mopar) sometimes cheaper at mass retailers than distributors - can we solve this? (knowing I understand volume, distribution, etc. - but it just should never happen).
2. Why do you think "low/no maintenance" sells vehicles? Do you really believe this is true? Can't we develop reasonable and believable maintenance schedules? Can we get some strong language on the impact on warranty for a "lack of maintenance" issues?
3. Can't you write a CSI survey that clearly asks questions to divide between product unhappiness and dealership unhappiness?
4. Can we please have access to the same system that Tech Asst has? So we can review the conversation our tech had with the engineers and can see the secret list of what to try when the manuals lead us no where? We could cut calls to TAC by 75% with just the ability to see possible solutions.

1. Why are you trying to tell us how to market our service dept when you have no idea what it's about?

2.Can't we have one central location to obtain information about whatever technical problem we're having instaead of checking 3 web sites and calling 2 different locations to get answers?

3.Why do you keep changing my ability to keep my customers happy by being able to obtain parts in a timely manor?

4. Why did you get rid of all the car people and hire a bunch of ribbon clerks?

Assuming the manufacturer is one of the Big 3...just one question:

"Do you have any plans to change the general mindset of top management from the early 20th century model any time soon?"

If one ever wonders: "What in the world are they thinking in Detroit?"...read on...

Detroit trivia:

47% of the population is functionally illiterate.

High school graduation rate: 32% (and many of them can't read).

Totally caused by the Big 3? No...but they definitely share some of the blame.

Does this have an effect on the product? Absolutely.
