What about taking the list of closing Chrysler and GM dealers in your area and just call and politely ask if anyone will be available soon?

better yet ....take a used car to the dealer you want to prospect at and take note of the advisors .....remember the name of the one that strikes you and call him/her at a later date.....tell the UCM you will pay for the LOF, best 30 to 40 bucks you can spend, to see a potential employee in action !!

Looking for an Advisor??

If you are really looking you can find one! There is a difference between looking and working at getting the BEST! You will need to offer some moving expenses If you going to bring one in from another area and also pay some base until they up and running...Be willing to work and train them in your sales process as well as your Dealers Policies and procedures. The biggest thing is to look for a Service Advisor that fits your company! Their is also a Free Career Test you can have your applicants take at www.livecareer.com. You can also have them pay the $39.95 or you can pay to get a complete picture of the candidate this is the lest expensive test I can find, FREE or $39.95....That will tell you If the person has a talent to be an advisor you are looking for...........Good Hunting!

Ah, tests. I once took a test, I think it was called a Wonderlich test or something like that. Highest score possible was 30, I made the mistake of scoreing 28, was told they had never seen a score that high, sorry, we can't use you.
