Denise,

I have heard we won't be able to order parts for the later recalls until October this year. No one at GM wants to touch the issue of used vehicles that cannot be sold for six months. Very frustrating.

Oh, they are being sold, I was told there is no STOP-SALE order on these at all! Our dealership has sold 2 HHRs.

But thank you for the info, I had not heard a time frame yet. :D

Denise: The only thing that pops into my mind is "liability". Can a Dealer be held liable for selling the vehicle with a "known" safety issue? GM may not have put out any kind of stop sale but you know as well as I do that attorneys are nuthing more than vultures. Joe Schmuckleys used cars could fain lack of knowledge but that would be pretty hard for a Dealer to sell to the judge!

Got an e-mail yesterday regarding how to order another switch if you receive a broken one via Fed-Ex or a technician breaks it. This site will not allow me to upload the file, though.
I will post this same note in a new thread..........
try to send me your e-mail & I will forward the e-mail if you need it!
