I'm perplexed. I can't seem to get & keep my Hyundai Smart Stock monthly numbers w/in the guidelines, particularly the purchase efficiency, level of service, & true turns. From everything I've been told by a variety of sources, the key is to run lost sales religiously, allow the stock orders to go through w/ very few adjustments, & sell more Hyundai parts on Hyundia ROs. We've been running lost sales to the point where we're way above guide & I personally do the stock orders so I know we're not slashing numbers. The PI/PO & BSL/BRP settings are extracted weekly so I know they're right. True turns is kind of a tough one because Hyundai's pricing on certain things (like axle shafts) can be ridiculous. BTW, we get tires through Hyundai Dealer Tire & bill them on the repair orders. I wonder if those part numbers on Hyundai ROs are counted towards or against this metric.
