By the pricing, that appears to be one of the kits that's not supposed to come with a cylinder.

Some of the 08 and newer cars are only getting a switch and keys

FROM 14092. "You will receive the parts required for the repair as a kit. The kit will contain an ignition switch, an ignition lock cylinder, two ignition keys and two key rings, or an ignition switch, two ignition keys and two key rings."

AH FIRST I HAVE SEEN..

look at the price difference between that kit and the ones that come with the cylinders

from 14092A

CORRECTION
Dealers are to replace the ignition switch. (This is in addition to replacing the ignition cylinder
(if necessary) and cutting and relearning new keys for safety recall 14113 or 14133, as
appropriate, (to be performed during the same repair visit as 14092).)

So the message this morning states that we can borrow a s/o cylinder in stock for a non responsive customer for another customer. HOW DO WE KNOW WHAT PART NUMBERS GO WITH WHAT RECALL AND WHICH 14092 VEHICLES DO OR DO NOT GET A CYLINDER? Holy S**T!

Along with the fact that I am still getting orders bounced as "duplicate". So I steal the kit form the no show customer and when they finally do show I am to re-order under the same VIN or maybe the VIN for the one I stole it for maybe I can get SPAC to help me out.  :P :) :D

I'm completely ignoring that bulletin and sticking with the cars they're ordered specifically for unless GM removes their head from their ass and has a better plan

In my case, my keys are already cut for the car so nothing's getting swapped around here :)

i also will ignore that bulletin. just suppose we do use a recall part from one customer to fix a different vehicle and then customer one is in an accident and someway their lawyer finds out what we did.Who's butt would be in a sling? Not going to chance it.
