Have any of you received a backordered housing yet? SPAC has no idea when they will start making them again is how it was put to me. I have one that's been sitting out back for amonth but thankfully they had another vehicle, today another one he can't get the cylinder out of so now she's going in an Enterprise car possibly indefintely.

I have one on b/o fro 4/24, called SPAC in June and explained GM was paying for a rental and had case up-graded to SWAT. Didn't do anything but generate an answerback the same as cville and bama got but with the added info that they may never be available. Showed this to our rep and was told to try and find a used column and take it off of that. Found one for $67.00 on first call and got vehicle back in traffic. We were told that we would have to the vehicle back and install the new housing when it became available. Just make sure the column has the key in the lock so it can be taken apart !!!

Talked to SPAC today for my monthly update - no ETA still - they do have a supplier and they're waiting for a sample now.

There are over 1400 SPAC cases on the part # and over 1800 on backorder.

Funny thing is, when our tech stated calling TAC about this when we had the car apart, they were acting like we were the first and only ones with this issue. That should mean I'm somewhere near the top of list to get one right? Nope - We're somewhere in the top 600

I ordered a housing 6/5 and upgraded to spac. Only answer I get from spac is "No eta, call back next week" Mean while we have a car sitting in our shop for over two months. Would be cheaper for them to BUY back these cars then pay the rental bill........
