Chrysler N46 Recall

Chrysler N46 Recall

Contacting Chrysler Expediting to order CBXTN463AA, provide them with a VIN. About 80,000 on recall, its been 3 days since we placed the call, and the order, still no activity. Called them back to see what was going on and they said they are processing the claim. This looks like its going to be a fun recall.

That seems to be the Canadian only hitch part number? I wonder why they would have two different hitches? Oh wait, I am using common sense again. In the US they come in a J-pak with a MSQ of 5. Would you believe I sold 2 and they send me another J-pak of 5? Typical. Oil switches for 3.6's? Nah, 9,000 on B/O, but we got your hitches bitches.
Being browbeat for over 35 years now... First 13 years GM, then 20 years Chrysler... NOW BACK TO GM!! :|

Yeah, we are special up here. The only reason there are two different numbers is one is MSQ 1, the other is MSQ 5, we got an email stated that they are the same part and that, what is stated is the only difference. it was a good laugh. I would believe that, I never put anything past chrysler anymore. We got you hitches bitches is the new slogan in the Parts Dept. now and forever.

Sounds like Chrysler is copying GM's recall playbook. :D They should be carefull with GM all about money they may go after Chrysler for copyright infringment. Its most likely in the GM handbook "How to screw your dealers, and feel good about it"
