CHRYSLER ARRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!

It seems the majority of users here are from GM stores. I was a GM parts/service mgr for 27 years. Been at a Mopar store for 2.5 years. On my worst day ever in dealing with GM it was 1000 times better than my daily dealings with Chrysler. Auto Deny on every single shortage claim. I get more help screaming into a toilet than politely asking my district manager for any help solving any of the daily 10,000 problems that Chrysler creates. This month I run my update and now a Chrysler minivan air filter that I could buy for $13.75 in June has gone up to $31.00 dealer cost. Their suggested retail price is $51.00.
Are you F-------- kidding me? Try selling a $51.00 air filter to a customer driving the most popular product made by these idiots.
I heard Kia and Hyundai were fined $100,000,000 for falsifying mpg ratings today.
If I wouldn't get fired, hint hint hint I would turn these bastards in to the NHTSA for refusing to repair recall vehicles. I cannot believe the spotlight hasn't turned on Chrysler. They only provide 1 part to fix 1 vehicle every two weeks on many of the recalls. they send out the letters to customers and send me a list with 600 vehicles and are only willing to pay to fix one car every two weeks. (Mr. customer, yes you have an open safety recall. We'll get back to you in 1200 weeks.) That is putting money before safety. I'd say that should be worth a 1 billion dollar fine.

Welcome to the Corporate scenario!!!! If you have been gone from GM 2.5 years then you must realize that ALL of these "corporate" Morons have gone to the same classes on "How to Screw Over The Dealer While Hiding it From The media".
This includes secondary classes on "How to Hide From the NHTSA" and "How to write False Statements to The Customer". Classes are held in the Corporate jet with secondary classes being held at the Hilton in Balize. Classes are available for registration at OU812(dot)com.

Hey there, I was a back counter parts advisor at a canadian group 5 size dealer for two and a half years, and from what I can say personally, it hasn't been this bad since I started at chrysler, recalls are getting out of hand, the order 1 in 14 days bullshit is insane, the pipeline on dealerconnect is no help because for whatever reason there were 4000 qty of the p14 brake booster recall coming out and then the next day there was nothing, my pm called his district rep and the was no answer from him for 5 days until he responded on the matter that the recall is being taken care of. bullshit. we had recall lists in the 100's. back orders were insane, never seeing parts for weeks. when there was the RT caravan brake rotor recall, we found a way to get the parts and we had 500 rotors in stock, and no one knew because it was ordered under a different part number. it has just gotten out of hand. im surprised chrysler is asking dealers to keep all warranty parts in case chrysler wants to "look at them". and with this new news that chrysler is at the bottom of the quality report is amazing that they are still going strong in sales. it seems if you want to be a successful parts manager in chrysler, you have to just be a penny pusher and try to get the most out of all the money you spend and make.

Chrysler needs to get it's suppliers network in check.

Let's hope Ford is better. I've only been here for 7 Days. WHOOOO :D
