PARTS COUNTERMAN PAY?? 1 1/2 YEARS IN BUISNESS

Ok guys I know this has been asked before but I have a guy here with very little experience. I have sculped him the way I want for the most part and he is turing out to be a great kid. Started a year and a half ago, brought up in house from the wash bay. He has only missed two days of work since starting and has been able to hold it down when I am out of the office. My problem is I am having a hard time coming up with a fair pay plan. He is making $13 and hr now with no com. I want to put him on a salary w/ commision so he can get in on a piece of the action. We are a 1 line dealership with just under a mil net for the year and its only 2 of us plus a driver. Any input would be great!

What's your location and brand? I have one of the best counterguys I have ever worked with that came from the same background. Is it you (the PM), him, and the driver? Do you do much wholesale? What are the dept hours and what is his schedule?
