GM Dealers: Anyone dropped OEC?

GM Dealers: Anyone dropped OEC?

Since the price has increased so dramatically, has anyone dropped their OEC subscription? Other than the potential tire rebate and lost sprint sales, is there another downside I'm not considering (besides locating parts locally, obviously)?

I sent it packin. On global connect there is a dealer locator in the locate parts screen that I've been using. I Thought that data came through oec but it's still working.

I did too, dropped it like it was lava.

1sat thing the consultant told the owners - you GOTTA have it. Owner said NO.

We dropped it also. With one other dealer in town we just call them to check if they have something.

Sprints are spoon fed to the larger dealers first so we never really did much of them either. Saving 350 dollars a month is nice.

How do you get MyPriceLink prices without OE Connect?

Just got off the phone with OEC. I'm under contract until Dec 9th. ARGH! Don't you love how well our business 'partners' treat us?

BTW. Was it just GM dealers that got the large price increase or was it across the board?

Make sure you send the cancellation in ASAP, that contract is evergreen, it renews if you don't cancel like 90 days before it automatically renews.....send it in NOW!!!
