My Price Link Webinar

My Price Link Webinar

Postby PartsPlant81 » Tue Jul 12, 2016 3:56 pm

The people @ OEConnection putting this webinar on have no idea the burden this new MPL program is putting on the dealers/parts professionals...If anyone else was in the webinar this morning you understand what I'm talking about. I put this in the Q&A but I never heard them address it:
"How is a real-time price updating a real benefit? Are you sure this isn't just a clever way to sell more Collision Link Plus subscriptions/MPL subscriptions to estimators? It is creating a lot more unnecessary work for all of the parts professionals!"

LOL. Good luck trying to get an answer that makes any kind of sense from a corporation. Not trying to be mean, just being realistic.

I was amazed myself as to how cumbersome it was for them and they are the ones that set it up. Do this, then do this, then do this, oh and then do this. I think a former GM employee came up with this because they knew that we like jumping through hoops.

Since our last adp update the integration doesnt work. Neither do the bulk pricing change commands at the command line. I give up.

You guys all need to quit and come to Toyota where they let you run your own departments and help you out every step of the way. :D

I agree with the person in the webinar who asked about the PRICE CHANGING issue. If we quote a job/estimate and schedule three weeks out, the price could change in the meantime. What a pitiful program.

Just like Parts Trader, I was informed today that we are expected to honor price quotes from June in December when the car comes in (we had a huge hail storm) We have appointments into Feb. of 2017.
