66.67% will put you within pennies on big parts and right on the money on smaller parts.

but so far, we haven't noticed any 0.00 prices in the catalog on MPL parts. makes me wonder if we paid reyrey for integration.....

If you've still got pricing in your GM EPC catalog something's not updating... The pricing on MPL parts went away six months ago

I mistyped that. I meant to say ERA, and not the catalog.

The catalog has been enough of a nightmare.

This has been an interesting week and a half so far. We have 14 GM clients and I can tell you that there has already been about 10 ways
to "bake" the MPL Cake!
We set up three sources for each one of our Clients... (One for "B", one for "M", and one for "W").

We had several dealers that wanted "LIST" set up in 2323 to "COST Plus XX%. (Usually COST + 70%)
**By doing this, it does effectively eliminate the MPL pricing coming over and can affect the discounts (Just what I have heard).

We had several large dealers that wanted to make sure LIST was "0.00" for those three sources. They are exclusively using the MPL
pricing.

A good question I have that has been brought up by several folks is this:
If you have a matrix escalator for a "retail price code", does pulling the list from MPL then calculate a escalated retail value based
on the GM MPL list or does it just sell at MPL list? I don't have that answer and would love to hear if it does.

We tried to be proactive and anyone with an escalated matrix from LIST, we converted it over to a COST Plus table. For example,
if Price Code 1 is the retail and parts from 35.00 to 50.00 Cost has a Escalated List of "LIST + 28%", we converted it over to "COST + 98%"
to achieve that same escalated retail without needing LIST Price.

It is my understanding that if you are using the MPL List there is no math needed at all? Again, this is a statement and I have not been
able to prove it.

We then had 3 GM clients on Reynolds and CDK that are not wanted to use the MPL link and the adjustments above have solved their
problem. I would have to say the "Million Dollar Question" has to be will some of GM's MPL list cost you any gross profit in the long
run???

After isolating most of the MPL parts with Zero List, we too are really surprised at the "diverse" number of parts that are considered
"Collision Related". With two dealers, we actually ran into a handful of "Tires" that had the "W" specialty code. Go figure? It certainly
doesn't seem to be "Class Code" driven.. but really, tires???

Look forward to hearing some more of your stories or an answer to "I did nothing and it works great" or "it is a friggin' nightmare"!!!

DFOAB is lit up with complaints. Interesting there are no real resolutions to the major complaints of a program that has been in pilot for so long.

it doesn't seem like it was thought through very far..... I have shops already saying they are all set and will go to keystone. It takes me twice the time to get quotes done. Since when are seat covers collision parts?!?! exhaust bolts? come on now GM

oh and better yet...... aftermarket companies get an OE log on and boom they have retail soooo who are we hiding this from?
