Anyone else notice the change to GM's new oil change pricing

When we signed up for the new $49.95 & $59.95 LOF / Rotate program it was 'sold' to us as a car 49.95 and truck 59.95 program.

Now the program is a 6 quart and 8 quart program.

I have got the rep to agree that a change was made due to 'legal' reasons but won't explain the reasons.

I thought it was a reasonable deal for everyone at the car / truck explanation. Not so sure now. For those that were on the 39.95 - we were not - then you are likely happier than before.

I don't like programs that change after we sign up. But what can we do????

I've been in this business long enough to learn that if GM claims "This is a GREAT Program ; Program will drive more traffic to your store; etc..etc.." you need to STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM IT. It's a trap and the ONLY business that will benefit is GM.
