What do you cost the oil at then ? Do you average it ? Cost in gallons is 3.07 and in quarts is 3.77. We would sell more at the 3.07 cost, so cost should be in the 3.30 range ?

Receipt the gallon as the part number in quarts and put the difference to 687.

Sorry I don't follow. What difference ? I receipt the part number 88865639 gallon in as quarts at that cost ( dividing 12.25 by 4 ) but now I have these quart bottles also that cost 3.77.
Sorry to be all hazy, been a bad week.

You purchase a gallon (88862469), cost is $12.25.

You receipt four quarts (88864038), cost is $15.08 and then credit $2.83 to 687.

Your inventory is in quarts (88864038) not gallons.

Sell the quart number on your RO's and make some back end money every time you buy oil.
