thats right, i thought they refilled the dexos when they did the delvac. I haven't been billed for the dexos in a few months i'll have to go thru the invoices. We are billing it out as 88865635

The bulk number used to be 19293003 and we now use 88865639. First was a blend and the new number is a full. The price did not change. YET!

The price went up 40 cents per gallon when it changed. 19293003 was $9.31 and 88865639 is $9.71.

Are you buying in quart bottles? The reason I ask is because that is the number you're billing.

Very true...they did say no increase when it was first brought up, and then BAM!!! Right between the eyes.

I'm still trying to get everything switched over as the old parts manager thought he made more money billing out like he was buying it in the quarts. My understanding is it only hurts loyalty

EDIT: We do stock the quarts and they still come in 19293000, but we have a 55 gallon drums as wel.

Yes, I believe that the way GM does their loyalty for chemicals, you are only hurting yourself (unless you're adjusting the cost that you bill to reflect the price you pay). If you aren't adjusting the cost, you're also hurting your pocket by not getting as much profit as you should.

19293000 is still a synthetic blend of the Dexos 5W30 in quarts. The full synthetic quart variant is 88865635. Your 55 gallon drum number could be one of a couple different numbers, depending on the option that you are buying on. 19293001 and 88865398 are 5W30 Dexos synthetic blend...88865636 and 88865637 are 5W30 Dexos full synthetic.
