Question:

When I order an owners manual thru HelmInc. and charge to my account. How does GM bill us?

thanks

I have always assumed it was on the dealer open statement, I never see it on my parts statement.

I've seen them take as long as 2 months to bill us for something.

Helm orders come on the GM open statement that the office gets. I believe it is billed as "Service Publication".

I dislike the fact the website has a different total than the invoice. I realize they have it stated; that the prices could change, but what would happen if the average retail website put that verbage on purchases, and jacked the price up later on the statement? I hold them all until I see the final statement. I let the customer know I can't quote the shipping and handling until I receive it. NOT ONE customer has had a problem with that scenario, thankfully.

Our show up weeks if not months later as service publication as well. I have never had an issue with pricing. When we place the order on helms site it gives the exact total when submitted. Always matches what is charged to the statement.
