It's more than messed up. I believe it is against EPA regulations to re-charge and send a vehicle out with a known leak. You are supposed to evacuate the system if it can not be repaired. I find it hard to believe that someone from GM would even suggest doing that ! (Unless GM means General Manager)

Yes. GM is the general manager and SM is the service manager. That decision was obviously not thought out well!!!

"New Loyalty Program" has 10 pgs. I think that may be more in a single thread than any of the Ignition Switch Recall posts. I do recall most everyone being just as furious back then, as we are now.

we did one today... the bad one we took out had a label of #23141869 which according to GM changes to #84243590. but if you look it up in the EPC, it shows replacement is # 84211191. nothing surprises me anymore.

We've been waiting on a Condenser since 5/2 and customer already commented he hoped to receive a Survey. He is not a happy camper. He will be trading his GM product in for either a Ford or Dodge. Said he is finished with GM products.

Received Condensor today, 7-5-2017 .

8 weeks. What service!

I just got a 84243590 in. Can I use it on a warranty RO even if the EPC calls 84211191?

We ordered a 84243590 and used the VIN calling for 84211191. It came in in a week. We installed on the vehicle and charged out 84243590 and were paid no problem.

I had a 84211191 and kept the one we took out for reference. The 84211191 looked identical to the one we took out, and the 84243590 looks identical to the one we took out.

On a side note, I was on GMs website and it says the 84243590 has a new number which is 84208354, what are they doing?

A lot of the old condensers coming out of the 2015's have a label with part number 23141869.
This changes to 84243590.
The catalog lists the 84211191 for these vehicles.
They are the same part.
