I have 20 on order, oldest order is 5/18. Dealer in Stockton shows 24 in stock.. Either they are brilliant, or a jerk. Or both. :)

You gotta do whatever it takes to take care of your customers.
I would be happy to have 24 on my shelf.
It's not like they all won't be sold.

Our SM walked in with an aftermarket condenser for a 2014 this morning, shooting his mouth off about how we couldn't get a part for our customer.

Nobody asked us to investigate locating an aftermarket condenser.

He shouldn't have done it that way but we have to do something. GM has went crazy with this condenser deal. We are in central Florida and it has been hot with high humidity.

A lot of the old condensers coming out of the 2015's have a label with part number 23141869.
This changes to 84243590.
The catalog lists the 84211191 for these vehicles.
They are the same part.

I just verified this as well.

I got my two 84211191 condensers in today. Exactly 2 full months to the day when I ordered them on 05/08 and 05/10! :o

I agree completely. But this isn't the first time that he has gone and ordered parts, which he is NOT supposed to do. He ordered in Napa heavy duty brakes for a customer's vehicle without asking the parts department. I billed the parts out at full list price, to the tune of almost $800.

He ordered an instrument cluster without telling us either.

Heads up, GM dropped the cost on the 84211191 from $182.88 to $149.95 on July 1.

The cost on the 84243590 also dropped from $177.55 to $149.95 on July 1.

ALL OF THESE ORDERED BEFORE JULY 1 ARE BEING BILLED AT THE OLD COST EVEN IF THEY SHIP IN JULY.

Now I can cancel all of my backorders and start again or eat $33 per condenser.

What a bunch of crooks.
