GM D2D Overnight, Not Really??

Parts we have received lately have been 2 days out when shipped D2D. Label shows ship date 7/22/17, as well as STD OVN MON-24, but arrived today, 7/26/17. A while back, our FedEx driver noticed the dates are not correct for overnight on the labels we print out, when sending a part D2D, as well. They are two days out for delivery. Anyone else notice this on your D2D packages or labels?

I believe it has to do with how late in the day the request is sent to the shipping dealer... Also that dealer may have not shipped it on the 22nd.

When we print a label to send a part D2D, the FedEx driver always asks us to verify the type as overnight because the date is printed for 2-3 days later on the label we are given from GM. We have considered time of day, and weekends, which I failed to mention previously. This is not every single time, but probably 2 in 5 or so.
