PACE Program

Heard and saw a few things about two weeks ago... Supposedly, final adjustments were going to be made, so shared my extreme displeasure with this whole new program, but I am guessing my comments fell on deaf ears.

The loyalty numbers will still count, but not in the level of payout, but rather in qualifying for the program. IF you don't hit their percentages in the loyalty and RIM compliance, you get nothing.

The screen shots I that I saw are 1/3 of the payout from parts growth in purchases from GM. I think at 80% you earn __% and climb up to 112-115% to earn __%

2/3 of the payout will be in service dept compliance. I think there were five or six different service compliance programs or catagories paying a varying percentage of discount. Service can hit four out of five, one out of five, etc... and you will earn those percentages that you hit their number.

IF and in my opinion, it is a big if... If you hit all the numbers across the board you will earn more than the 5.25% we can earn today. I don't remember that number, maybe 6.75%, just not sure about that

ALSO, and this is huge... I heard that the VPI program will be terminated. I did not see a screen shot that said it, heard it verbally.

He has told me no more DRO discounts, no more return reserve, no more same day repair initiative money.
Basically parts depts will leave the basement and go right down into the cellar which will officially be the lowest level and we can't get any lower!

This is GM you're talking about. When we hit rock bottom, they will bust out a jack-hammer!

So in other words. This experiment went on for 5 years and now has to be tweaked to try to get even more out the dealers...

In typical GM fashion ... they announce that they are taking money away from us and the potential attendance for their webinar takes the webpage down .... Do you think someone should have tested this before hand ??
