PACE Program

As it stands now we would lose $53K a year on the new program.

If service jumps through some hoops the loss drops to $13K.

If service does some extreme hoop jumping, might be at the break even point.

What a crock of sh#t.

How about NONE! Let's compare the gross on $100.00 of labor versus the gross on a $100.00 of parts!

How about I'll trade you for that $40-50k month in gross transfer on CP sales (or take out the difference when we don't hit our objective because Service doesn't keep up their end of the deal)!

If they contribute to a net GAIN in this program, I'll gladly give Service whatever monies are ABOVE what Parts normally earns. There's your "carrot"!

I'm with that, if GM is going to steal from parts, this damn transfer has to GO!

Just had our Rep in on this program today....what a joke. If we have the same year as we did last year we are on "pase" to lose 50k. Only good thing is that by the time this program roles out I will have relocated and will no longer be a PM. 60 days and counting.

I hate to ask for this.. can anyone just give the main highlights of this program? With all the acronyms I feel lost. Doesn't it BEYOND the parts and service requirements? All the way to sales and a trained receptionist?

Does anyone mind (without the sarcasm) just giving the main requirements in summary?

Thanks. I am worried as the rest of you all

I sure am glad I retired last September. I feel for you guys having to deal with all GMs bullshit programs. All I can say is good luck to those who remain.

Program is basically tailored for Large wholesale dealers who spend over 15 million (rolling 12 month purchases) and who increase their YOY purchases with GM by 112+ %, to make money as long as their service department meets all requirements when it comes to retention and CSI. If you do not meet all these criteria, you will lose money on this program.

It also forces the Dealer to enroll in the National Retail Plan as that part counts towards 40% of the new "discount."
