We average between $4,800.00 and $5,400.00 for our discount. Because we don't have their God D#@*%ed integration system set up yet, our January pay out would have been $865.00. Some program.

Our average is 9500, because Service isn't doing their part we are now at 1400...glad I'm getting out before this program kicks in.

(in your best Drew Carey voice)
"Welcome to our game show. Who's discount is it anyway, where the rules don't matter because no one knows what they are or the current score."

We average 45,000 to 50,000 for SDR and VDI per month.
Warranty calculator (worth 40%) and both retention numbers (worth 7.5% each) are all not in compliance as of Feb. data for the calculator and Jan. numbers for retention.
These are going to cost us $24,750-$27,500 a month ($297,000-$330,000 per year).
Not sure how to explain the loss in parts gross due to the new program and nothing I have control over in service.

Kind of like RIM and Same Day Service.
"Well, you have had seven years to fix it".
Don''t remember who said that, but in another seven years they'll have made it "better".
Good luck and I'll leave the light on for ya !!!

This is another convoluted, diversionary program designed by GM's acronymic nerds
to divert attention away from the corporation's engineering, manufacturing and
distribution deficiencies and focus on irrelevancies and trivia in the retail marketplace.
Assembling, manipulating, controlling, and managing minute details of service and
parts operations will eventually allow the manufacturer to eliminate dealers and
deal directly with the consumer as they are now doing in vehicle sales.

So my question is this, has anyone out there shown and increase in their payout when comparing end of month figures for Jan 2018.

Those Parts managers don't need this board, they have nothing to complain about.

RIM came out in 2005 as a 'VOLUNTARY' program. We went on in 2006 under much protest. That's over 12 years, double the career life expectancy of most GM Parts managers. :|

There's too few of us left who remember the days when we controlled our inventories, made lots of 687, had so much return reserve you got the unused back in cash, still had obsolescence under 5%, got our stock orders the next day, received referrals in 2 days, and could compete with the 'big guys' because the playing field was even.

FROM THE FAQ SECTION:

What is going to happen to the non SLP parts on RIM? What happens to the current non SLP parts that we have in inventory currently?
There is no change in how SLP parts are handled by the RIM Purchase Loyalty calculation, how RIM recommends them, how they are shipped or the return policy of these parts.

THEY CAN EVEN ANSWER THIER OWN QUESTIONS!!!

RIM monthly returns will not be generated when a dealership is set to non-PASE terms. You are screwed out of RIM protection as well.
