CDK ADDING A SOURCE

CDK ADDING A SOURCE

Postby bigmac » Wed Nov 20, 2019 3:07 pm

We are trying to add a source for a set of parts from a new supplier. I went into MSSO and started adding the source and I got to the screen asking "order pad number". I cannot find any info on what this should be except "3 numerics". Anyone know what I should use?

Order Pad Number

This is an optional entry. Order pads are used to group sources togetherfor calculating and printing stock orders.
##Enteran order pad number to assign this source to the order pad. The orderpad file is checked to see that this order pad number is set up. Ifnot, you automatically enter MSOP - Set Up Order Pads when you exitMSSO.
##Enter NONE to clear the displayedorder pad number and unassign this source from the order pad.
##Press Enter to skip the order padprompt or leave the order pad number as displayed.

I believe this is only for running a stock order so that more than 1 source can appear on the same order pad. Ed.
