Q&A SESSION WITH GM

We submit ours as shipped in error and in the notes state: Strike issue or cross dock issue. Haven't had any kick back. It is a pain having to do them one at a time. Until they tell us something different we will continue to do that. Hopefully they will give us a bump in reserve to help out as well.

It is possible to enter multiple lines on an MR 08 return. Once you put your first line in, you can click on the link to add more lines. All you have to do is enter the shipment number and the item number and you can proceed to the next screen. The system will recognize the order and add it to the existing return application. There is no need to enter the strike related items line by line. Before submitting the return, you can view everything that is being returned. It will also recognize which facility everything was shipped from.

It is an easy way to generate a return for ALL the items that you no longer need.

we just do a shipped in error claim with the words "strike related part return" and they are being accepted.

I have done over $6000 in "strike related" returns and I have only had a issue with one transmission assembly. I was told by my PDC it was because of the age of the shipment (shipped 11/15, we received it 12/26) well after ordering a 2nd from our local PDC on 12/11 and receiving on 12/12.

My PDC did manually input that return for me, just waiting on the paperwork.

My return also went thru. I only want to make sure I don't get charged a 35% fee.
