We're shut down til April 6th at the earliest.
Yet I'm here trying to track down a rear axle for a truck.

Had to modify our hours and are pretty much operating at half service and parts staff right now.

Sales is closed and our Body Shop shut down for at least 3 weeks.

Tough times but we will get through it.

Stay safe out there everyone!

I'm only working with spare parts orders, Russia has only closed things such as cafés, malls or gyms, but garages and everything industrial still works, which means I can get and send needed parts from there. The physical garage isn't open, unless there's an appointment made beforehand.

still open with very minimal staff.. most of our tech's went on unemployment (8 of 10), as they will make more $ than just standing around here. 3 parts guys did the same, down to me and 1 other, and we closed our Quick lane.

I guess I go down with the ship.

YEP 0% OF $0 sales still equals $0 commission.

Our owner told us we could leave if we don't feel comfortable being here, but in OH, you can't collect the unemployment for just walking off the job without falling into one of six categories. Just being uncomfortable is not one of them. I'm cool with staying here, but I feel sorry for those who fear their job won't be there when they return; if they decide to go.

I filed for retirement last night as I had been planning. I should be home per cdc and florida guidelines now. Our owner feels that I am essential to the dept but I gave him notice in December last year.I'm not sure if I could collect unemployment unless they let me go and I also need insurance until July when the retirement is effective. So I feel good about my situation but I don't really know what my rights are. Best of luck to all who post and watch the forum!
