Okay GM brothers and sisters,
I have a question. What time are you getting your service lane parts? I believe that there is a change that GM and/or FED-EX changed from 3 to 4 at the latest time for them to arrive. We once had a driver that made sure we had our packages by noon or one at the latest. Since then they have not had the same driver on any given day. There is one that does the same on taking care of us, but we get him on Mondays and that is it. Have any of you had the same problem? Do you still have issues? If not what did you do in getting someone to listen to the need to get your parts the next day in a time that it matter?

I have not discuss this yet with the DM, but have it on my list to discuss with him when he comes in.

Fed-ex express driver is here daily between 10 and 11. Have had the same driver for 2 years. Fed -ex ground here anytime between 1-3.

Changes in FedEx Service Levels

To: Parts Managers and Service Managers

FedEx has experienced a major market shift in 2020 due in large part to the increase in e-commerce shipments, which has increased exponentially during the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to adapt to this new business model, FedEx is making changes that will allow us to continue providing customers (on both ends of the supply chain) with the service you've come to expect with FedEx.

Effective September 28, 2020, please find below some of the FedEx Express changes to transit commit times:

Standard Overnight (SO) commercial is changing from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

FedEx expects these changes will better set expectations for delivery times and improve on-time service performance. These commitment time changes will be reflected on http://www dot fedex dot com and will be included in the October 2020 FedEx Service Guide update.

​If you have any questions please reach out to your local PDC Dealer Liaison or normal communication point of contact. ​

Realistically, if we get a "Priority" shipment that's due by 10, my driver will deliver everything they have. If I don't, they have until 4:30.

Different time every day sometimes 11, or 2 , or3
it's almost 11:30 as i type this and no fed-ex yet
