Am I stuck with some HD airbags?

Hello all, just wanted to see if anyone has handled a situation like this yet. Service had me special order some airbags (part# 84255088) for recall# N212328760 for some customers who never came back. There are now allegedly two new parts that need to be ordered and installed now, as this recall has changed. It is now supposed to have an airbag part# 84594241 and bracket# 84594242. You could only use part# 84255088 if it had a job card date prior to June 1 2021. Just looking for some ideas as to how to approach this as my DMA is usually clueless and is no help at all. I ended up eating just one from the airbag recall for the Pontiac Vibe. Luckily these ones are pretty cheap, but I don't want to eat anything if I don't have to. Any thoughts and ideas would be appreciated.

I was lucky to get rid of one last week when an old school 15817 recall came in. With 15817 it says you can use either #.

short answer recall parts are non-returnable charge it to service

You can still use the old airbags (84255088) on recalls N212328770, N212328780, N212328790, and N212328800

We were able to use up our old stock on these recalls

Also recalls 15438 and 15817

you can also send back unused recall parts . Ask your PDC dealer liason. You will have to fillout a PC659 and submit it to him/her

is this something new? i thought recall parts were non returnable, i know when they were pushing the pallet of air bags they stated in the message that you could not return them

MAYBE THAT PERTICULAR BULLETIN STATED THAT . I HAVE A GREAT RELATIONSHIP WITH MY PDC LIASON AND YES I DO A LOT OF BITCHING . BUT IN THE END SHE RESPECTS EVERYTHING I BITCH ABOUT. AND YES SHE HAS TAKEN BACK AIRBAGS AND OTHER RECALL PARTS. MOST OF THE TIME WE GET TO SCRAP IT.

*"To return any excess campaign parts, a PC-659 return would be filed with the Administrative PDC, but in this case a paper PC-659 will need to be filed via regular mail."
*"The Product Campaign Bulletin number and the "special" M.R. reason code (12) is also required for returns of campaign parts.
*"If any deviations exist, the dealership will receive instructions."

I have not had to use this in years. These parts are HAZ-MAT so I highly doubt they will accept their return. (see GCUS-3-2318)
