I had to do a claim on a rear liftgate that would not fit properly after our body shop had already painted it and the claim paid. I made sure I had a lot of photos of the problem fit areas and GM requested the
additional documentation showing the reason for the claim. I got all my ducks in a row before submitting the claim and the photos help document why we were filing a parts warranty claim.
