That reminds me of a funny SAAB story.
When they brought someone in from GM to run the parts side of things after many years of problem free ordering, the idiot decided to start the minimum qty bullshit which SAAB never used before. Of course after many years of having no minimums, they didn't have enough to fill the orders so they would have to overnight the rest at no charge from the west coast warehouse.
I can't imagine how much money they lost shipping 2 or 4 clips or bolts that no one even needed anyway. And that went on for a long, long time
