OK, I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT.
GM WANTS BACK ALL OF THE OLD USED IGNITION KITS SO THAT THEY USE THEM TO BUILD THE WALL HIGHER IN THE STATES THAT HAVE TO BORDER CROSSINGS THAT ARE BEING VIOLATED EVERY DAY.
AND THE NEW KITS THAT ARE BEING SHIPPED ARE CALLED "RECALLS FROM THE RECALLS"
THE SAGA CONTINUES .
EVERY DAY I AM NOT SURPRISED AT WHAT EMBASILLES GM HAS WORKING FOR THEM.
(DID I SPELL IT CORRECTLY??
Seriously?

I lost out on 8 appointments on 07/07 due to the parts hold.
YUP, especially that the just released them with NO explanation at all..... it was a money grab, pure and simple.
Re: Seriously?
Well if you look at MSN Money headlines today you can see the De J'avue. "WalMart scrambles to reinvent itself". Does this sound at all familiar, kind of like GM coming out of BK. Whats that that was said about the definition of stupidity and doing the same thing over and over again. They both play on the same scenario of forcing their suppliers into near BK by their purchasing habits and then wonder why the product they are receiving is GARBAGE!!! GM's supplers rate them as the WORST company to supply and they are working on the Dealers towards "becoming" the worst supplier, which will all reflect on the customer attitude. Sorry about the rant but it REALLY sounds like doing the same thing over and over to me.
No envy for you younger folks out there that are forced into years (if GM stays alive) of useless inventory programs backed by little or no support from the General (discounts and allowances) as they attempt to drive ALL but the big dogs out of business before they fall on their own face.

Re: Seriously?
On my way to the liquor store right now.
Re: Seriously?
Seriously ? How many hours do you think parts spent checking and pulling, service spent cancelling customers, multiplied across the USA, and not a word of explanation or contrition from GM.
