GCUS-3-2620 "Due to limited initial parts availability, dealers should not order parts included in this field action for use as shelf stock. Parts should only be ordered when the dealer has confirmed and validated the customer has a scheduled appointment with the service department. "
It says they're releasing it in phases as well as over the course of six different bulletin numbers.

Thanks, GM...it's pretty hard to schedule a service appointment to install parts that are going to inevitably backorder with no ETA.Denise Trimble wrote:GCUS-3-2620 "Due to limited initial parts availability, dealers should not order parts included in this field action for use as shelf stock. If you really want to get aggravated take a look at the dealer cost for the front seat modules that fit a Traverse. The rear console HVAC control isn't much better.
Hint: $8.05

Don't forget to make it the parts departments job to make sure you order the parts for each vin correctly. I understand we need to get it right, but really GM, you built these vehicles without the parts. Why not have vin specific kits shipped per vehicle like the LPO crap is. I know, I know the parts department doesn't have anything better to do than look up parts. LOL Have a great day all.

I ordered a bunch "for customers" no issues. They are all sitting on a shelf ready to sell lol
