GM Pricing
GM Pricing
Looks like GM had a price update over the weekend, Inventory value shot up.
Re: GM Pricing
Yeah, it appears that there were a bunch of parts prices updated on the 15th. Way to go GM...price changes in the middle of the month.

Re: GM Pricing
My oil cost increased from invoice dated 5/16 to 5/23 > cannot get an answer why. Tires are off as well

Re: GM Pricing
I don't think I've ever seen a mid month price change from GM. Certainly not one of this magnitude. We hold our quotes for 30 days regardless of MoM change, so I've been burned (slightly) a few times. This price increase seems expansive. I had heard (can't remember where) there was a 4.5% increase across those PNs with updates.
Ecom was already basically breakeven, before customers started paying preincrease prices while my ADI charged me post increase prices.

Re: GM Pricing
I have talked to 2 other dealerships and they also found the oil pricing issue on invoice dated may 23rd. it was correct on the 16th, this is at the same time of the price tape update.

Re: GM Pricing
Tires were our biggest stumbling block. Anything quoted prior had to be adjusted since the quote page had the 30 day guarantee across the bottom. I noticed post-price update, the big red note across the Tire Central page regarding pricing. Yesterday it was gone.
