Re: Chrysler PM Question

Anything that shows at our facing depot is ordered E. Everything else is ordered S. The pitfall is that there is an upcharge that FCA hits you with if your S orders exceed a certain percentage of your total orders in dollars. It is a moving target so it is hard to keep track of. My guys usually know ...

Re: 50 thousand dollars!!!

I read and reread your post and I'm a little confused. If you were short 50k, and the insurance check went to other income (makes no sense)instead of crediting your inventory account then you should still be 50k short because nothing has change in the GL inventory amount. Yet you are now 50k over ...

Re: GL Balances in ADP Drive

We are on drive. For us, everything posts in real time. I go to the report and analyze tab>click on account balance under GL inquiry (AGRI), and enter my inventory accounts. I only have 2 at this store, parts and bulk oil. Our Honda store has 3, parts, accessories, and bulk oil.

Re: Counterman Schedule

Our hours are 7a-6p M-F and 8a-5p on Sat. I have 4 counter guys. 2 work 7-5, one 7:30-5:30 and one 8-6. I work 8-6. Saturday afternoons are usually the slowest so my guys alternate working one half day on Saturday and 1 full day on Saturday with 2 Saturdays off. I also run a one man honda parts dept ...

Re: cheating your inventory

I am just curious what you are getting at. Our obsolesence starts marking down at 14 months until 18 months when the part is toally marked down. The mark down goes against monthly gross as an inventory adjustment. I have seen guys in the past sell a part and then write a credit in order to show ...

Mopar Estore

just curious if anyone else is using estore. We have been up for a couple of weeks but it hasn't been without issues. today I got an order in that the customer wanted "overnight". The system did not calculate any freight. I spoke with ChromeData and they tell me I can add the freight when i "capture ...

Re: ADP obsolescence report

I have a report that I use (I didnt build it) that will give you what you need I think. It allows you to pick the month no movement (anything over xx months no movement). I run it out of enhanced report generator so i can export to excel and delete SP, eliminate low dollar items etc. I can email you ...
