Good News About GM Backorders
According to just released "Duncan Direct" Buick GMC video. GM Parts backorders are down 25%. The last report I have is December 2022. Compared to earliest report I have April 2022, I don't see 25%.

Re: 84304240 airbag recall
GM has to review each order to make sure you really need them. DUMBASSES

I guess that explains why they can't ship anything on time anymore. They are too busy "reviewing" all those air bag orders.

PASE Guidelines Changed 02/23/2022
I needed to clarify a situation this morning so I downloaded the PASE Guidelines. To my surprise the front of the "booklet" states updated 02/23/2022. What changed? Did anyone see a bulletin? I don't want to read the entire thing and try to find the changes.

Re: 84304240 airbag recall
Darn near impossible to get.
Admin PDC is Chicago. All orders being reviewed / held at least one day. Unknown why, sometimes longer.
If order refers to any Michigan local, it will be weeks to get them.
Same for the HD inflator bracket - darn near impossible to get.

No... but GM is the worst or the GM parts managers are the most vocal.
I would say that we're the most vocal.
GM Dealers may be the most vocal, but it really doesn't matter - No one at GM is listening

Re: GM TOE LINK RECALL
Anyone know where these link kits are at? I haven’t seen any in almost two weeks and they keep calling to schedule for the recall. The list is starting to build. Please don’t tell me they have found something wrong with the new ones………….You are not going to pound a bunch of these out in an ...

Re: Single use parts
A little over two years ago we were charged back by GM for a warranty claim (timing chains) because we failed to replace one of the single use bolts. They had changed the procedure and tech didn't see the added part to the list. This was $1500 mistake. Service ate the whole thing, parts were not ...

DPAC
As you likely know SPAC is well on the way to being renamed DPAC.
Do you see DPAC as another step where GM is pushing more and more work to the dealerships? Or do you see DPAC as a help to dealers?
