Re: Loyalty dealer contribution bill
GM charges the dealer for a certain amount of the loyalty points that the customer gets. We split it 50/50 between fixed ops and sales. We charge it to advertising.

I scoffed, went to parts workbench and guess what I found......They are right! I did look at a couple more numbers and all had a ridiculously low list price. The ...

19211919 Wheel Locks
Our dealership installs wheel locks on every vehicle during PDI. This set of wheel locks have been on red list from our accessory supplier (GM) for several weeks. This is costing me gross on every one we miss. Does anyone have a line on these or even know of another lock that might work in their ...

DEPLOYING ROOF RAIL AIR BAGS
Has anyone deployed any of these recall air bags yet? Any tips or pointers? The recall states to deploy them immediately. I plan to wait til the RO pays then deploy them and hold them.

Re: GM: Handling of LPO's
Our parts department checks in the LPOs and stores them. Our service department adds a line on the PDI ro for LPOs if it has them. The tech comes to parts to get the LPO......BUT we add a part to the ro as LPOHF. It is an LPO handling fee. I have cleared this with our general manager and it goes to ...

Re: PASE DOLLARS
I dont know what yall are talking about?!?!? I LOVE LPOs! Seriously. I explained the problems with lpos to my dealer and I now add a "handling charge" to every vehicle that gets an LPO. It goes on the same ro with the nitrogen, wheel locks etc. We get anywhere from $25 for small items to $400 for ...
