Engine list prices
Engine list prices
I just quoted an engine 19420610 to a fleet company. They came back with a price of $3549.98 and said it is the GM published list price. I scoffed, went to parts workbench and guess what I found......They are right! I did look at a couple more numbers and all had a ridiculously low list price. The fleet company refused to budge. Has anyone else noticed GM publishing list prices on engines?

Re: Engine list prices
They have always published retail prices for engines. Usually a 15% mark up. they have been giving us more lately for some transmissions

YES we noticed it here once the powertrain repairs started to escalate with the lifters the cost and MSRP started to drop but the core prices started to skyrocket . I can only imagine beings GM has to foot the bill for the warranty repairs its cheaper for them to fix now
