Re: REYNOLDS IGNITE FASTEST MOVING LIST

Re: Freon Movement
Definitely can become a battle. Parts departments eat a bunch of freon. What works for me is, we charge the whole cylinder to the shop on a monthly shop ticket/RO. Every time a tech lets us know how much to charge out on a certain job, we bill it to the job then immediately credit the rolling shop ...

Re: Shop Supplies
We keep a monthly shop supply RO open til EOM. 90% of the supply invoices from the outside vendor is billed on the RO at cost +67%. We try to keep a 40% gross profit number on internal every month. Look at it this way, if you sell a shop supply, is the shop marking it up and making profit on it? No ...

What's the difference in selling a standard transmission car to someone that hasn't ever used a clutch? If they are involved in an accident, would I be liable?
Autozone will sell it to them.

Re: double selling.
We close our shop RO at EOM always. Either way, it works out. If you pass a cylinder over the counter close to the end of the month, it just gets credited back to the shop lb by lb the next month and so on.
