J just ordered a pallet (576) of transmission fluid # 88861037, which was superseded to # 88865601.
Answerback says : Cancelled: excessive qty. please verify and re-enter.
Called SPAC : they tell me it's a recall part-orders restricted to qty. of 1.
I tell her, it's a quart of transmission fluid and you only sell in qty's of 12. Then I'm told again I can only order 1.
So, I give her an order# and invoice# of where I purchases 576 last month.
After 2 trips to talk to a supervisor, she inform's me I can only order it on a QPO order.
I had already told her that i had ordered it as a QPO, so I told her again. She says, "Really?"
She's on her 3rd trip to the supervisor now.

Have you considered 88861045 gallons? Might help your techs with handling and bottle disposal.

Never mind... I see that number is replaced a few times 88861045>88861954>88865602 and no stock available on any. BUT it's still a good idea for when stock comes back

Sounds like it's time for a bulk tank.

I had it in a bulk tank until a few months ago.
I pulled it out and went back to bottles, since ATF earns no discount either way.
I put 0W20 bulk in the tank, which out performs the ATF and gets a 10% discount.

Thanks everyone for the info.
Good luck if you need GM assistance !!!!!!!!!

Bulk Dextron 6 cost $10.87 gallon
Bottled Dextron 6 cost $18.56 gallon

It appears to earn a 58% discount.
