Have a sales department that has lost it's way. Need to formulate a gameplan that gets them into good work habits. Anyone have some ideas that are currently working well. Want to give them one last try before I just start over with new people. They know what to do I just need some fresh ideas on how to keep them focused.

What works for us is daily one-on-ones
with sales mgrs. We use the ADP CRM system to produce daily work plans-but if no one keeps on top of them-they slough it off.
Actually I think our sls mgrs do a brief am and afternoon checkup.

Most sales forces that have "lost their way" have a "poison pill", or a bad apple in the bunch. before you start anything new, such as "one on ones", (which by the way is a great suggestion) rid yourself of the poison... It's amazing effect one salesperson's negativity can have on your staff...
