Creating Objectives

Creating Objectives

How objective is your sales objective?

Sales objectives you can depend on are important for setting performance standards and creating budgets.

Many department managers calculate sales objectives simply by adding an arbitrary percent of increase to their previous years numbers. This can often result in serious consequences.

To help parts managers create yearly and monthly objectives I've developed an inexpensive Microsoft Excel based program called "Objective Generator." Objective Generator uses past performance and anticipated future performance, along with UIO's and customer retention, to return credible yearly and monthly objectives. As a result these objectives are more accurate, more realistic, and therefore, more attainable.

Anyone interested in obtaining a copy of Objective Generator, or for more information, please e-mail me at gss83@aol.com or phone me at (570) 824-1528.
