F&I software for small dealers

I've been asked by a few friends at small, independent used car stores for advice on a software package for printing forms and contracts- having been at "real" dealerships for decades I have no idea what to suggest. Anyone have any suggestions for PC based systems for one or two users that will print contracts, etc.?

I work for a rather large independant used car store and we run our entire operation through a system called PBS. The company is based out of Canada and we utilize it for much more than just F&I. Such as inventory, accounting, CSI, and service orders. Happy Hunting.

Forget the response from the PBS salesperson. I'm sick of the covert sales attempt.

Jdaniel if I were trying to sale you something I would put forth a little more effort than just leaving you a few e-mail addresses. I use this program just to offer what little bit of advise I have. As for your DSI salesman you might want to stay away from him. Sounds like a picth to me. Good luck.

Appolgy accepted. We in fact did shop all of the DMS's and chose PBS because of the cost and open format of their system. That system allows to do custom reports for inventory, sales, and service, which other systems wanted charge us for. We're very happy with PBS and thats why we "sale", or promote if you will, for them. Carking, I agree that this system should be used for those seeking advise not an attempt to sale product.
