GM IDMS?

The short answer to your question is that I took that string down. There was nothing wrong with the topic, but for reasons I don't want to go into, felt that it was best to let the topic re-start itself if that was the wishes of the users of the forum.
DealersEdge Forums are meant to be a free exchange of ideas among dealership professionals. But we do guard carefully, sometimes over-carefully, the content so that it is not improperly used- or even have the appearance that it is being improperly employed.
It is not for the marketing of products and services, nor should it be used for anything other than as a medium for you to talk to your colleagues from around the country.
Sorry I cannot be more specific. But feel free to comment on the same subject. We reserve the right to edit, but do so very reluctantly and not very often.

I just wanted to let you all know that by agreement with Matt Parsons, I have removed his posts on this subject. A question regarding his impartiality has been raised.
This action does not indicate that we have passed judgement on the issue or the questions raised. Hoever, rather than have this thread misdirected to the competitive issues of two DMS providers we have taken these steps. If the subject is something that you wish to discuss, please feel free to add your comments.
Again, we do not like to step into these threads in this manner, but feel this was necessary to maintain the primary purpose of this forum. We do this only to promote and protect the integrity and usefullness of the service.
