AC DELCO SUPPLIERS

WE HAVE HEARD SOME TALKING IN OUR AREA ABOUT THE LOCAL AC DELCO SUPPLIER WILL SOON START TO GET AND SELL GM SHEET METAL TO WHOLESALE CUSTOMER. WE HAVE ASKED OUR LOCAL GMSPO REP ABOUT THIS AND HE HAS NO NEWS.
HAS ANYONE BEEN HEARING ANYTHING ABOUT THIS.

Our supplier here in central Ohio does not know anything about this.

We in upstate NY have not heard anything about ACDELCO selling sheet metal. I talked to my rep. and she also states she knows nothing. What I have heard is GM is speaking to ACDELCO WD's to possibly stock accessories. In key locations across the country. That may not be bad considering the time frame we look at getting acc. now.One intresting thing in this area is that our local NAPA stores are selling ACDELCO now!! Just what we needed is a little more competition these days.

I have heard of a dealership and a jobber being owned by the same person. It would only be natural for them to work together in that circumstance.

We are located in NJ,,and the only thing I've heard is that GM is forcing the Ac Delco people to stop selling to Dealers and start selling to our wholesale customers....
