GM no more shipping UPS

I'm not complaining at all about the "NEW" way of doing this, I just think that GM needs to do a better job in the communication department..
Especially since the above mentioned notice was in Service and not in Parts... They should have included the New and Improved way in Parts and Service... The parts Dept. in our dealership are the ones who handle the return of warranty parts to GM!

Just my opinion!

Maybe the communication department isn't a part of the "New" GM!!

I had my Partner Security Co-ordinator assign me all department messages; Sales, Service, Parts, Warranty, etc.

Too much info is better than not enough.

Hello,
The Warranty Parts Center (WPC) in Lake Orion, MI is outside the scope of Bulletin GMP09-127. Continue to use the UPS ARS prepaid labels specific to WPC, as the logistics team that manages WPC logistics chose to remain with UPS as their small pack carrier.
GMSPO Customers that are on a Dedicated network for pickup of cores/material returns have zero need for the FedEx prepaids, since their cores/returns to the PDC's/Suppliers/core Processors/etc. are picked up by the Dedicated driver.
We do have GMSPO customers that are NOT on a Dedicated route. Those are the customers that use PrePaid labels for core/material returns to various locations. They need to discard old UPS prepaid labels for returns and adopt the FedEx prepaids for returns, or face a charge for using UPS.

I will add that yesterday I sent a warranty part back and used the website that was provided and it was very slick, and easy... No need for the previous UPS return tags...

Bulletin GMP09-127 - UPS Reminder has been reissued today, in case we forgot...

No mention of UPS labels being used for the WPC. You would figure that with everyone asking, they would include this information in the message...

So much for thinking logically

That message (GMP09-127 ) pertains to dealers that do not have Dedicated delivery, to facilitate parts claims etc. returns.

I can ask a company providing Delivery services Fort Worth about it. Your post has also made me confused and I am also in a doubt now. I will ask them about it. This company is very much reliable and I am sure they will have all the answers. Thanks for making my mind run again.
