You have a choice - work for Paul Teutul at O.C.C (American Chopper) or for Boyd Coddington (American Hot Rod). If you've watched several episodes of both shows, not knowing anything about pay, benefits, and forget about that they are in NY and CA - just by personality of the shop - who would you rather work for?

I agree with Boom - Boyd seems cool, but at the same time purposefully distant from the shop. You know what put it over the edge for me, when he allows his wife to come in and start "helping". I appreciate she knows what she is doing, but no one can manage that situation and he should realize that.

Sr on the other hand is one of those guys that, at least for me, you just want to work for. Expects a lot, but comes across as loyal to his employees. OCC just reminds me more of the shops I worked at, where money and fun are almost equals. Boyd's shop is all business and as a result you see how many techs have rolled their tool box out of there.

I have not seen much of American Hot Rod, but from what I have seen it would be Paul Sr. hands down. He is usually only yelling at Jr. everyone else seems to be off the radar.

Definitely Paul Sr. - He seems to expect an awful lot from his employees, but in doing so, insures that their work is respected. So long as you are where you should be, he usually doesn't bother ya
