Warranty rate increase

Warranty rate increase

We have elected not to re-up on Ford's automatic warranty labor rate increase (dealer separation option). We want to instead go with the short form since the increases haven't kept up with the retail rate increases. Have any of you done this and do you have any suggestions other than the standard process Ford has (like a great request letter etc.)? Kevin

If you have not signed the separation agreement you can go into fdealer.com. Go to bottom of the page (down by vehicle locate) and go into e-tools signup. In this section you will find all of the programs Ford hopes you will sign up for At, or near, the bottom you will find a NEW program. It is the new electronic warranty increase program. You enter the info (Ford trusts you) and you should have your answer within about 72 hours (so I am told). Otherwise, if you can make the case, call you rep and tell them you will sign up if they give you the needed increase....worked for me.
